You find a boat, tethered to the end of a long wooden pier. You step off the sandy beach onto the pier, your steps ringing hollowly on the wood, and stop in front of the boat. It's small but sturdy-looking, and as you rest your hand on it, it rocks comfortably in the water, inviting you in.
